Africans that live abroad should visit home as much as possible and at Eat Jollof we want to do our part to support that.

Competition Entry Rules

1. Promoter

The promoter of this competition is Eat Jollof (the "Promoter"), with its registered office at [128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX.

2. Eligibility

This competition is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over, excluding employees of the Promoter, their immediate families, and anyone else professionally connected with the competition. Proof of age may be required.

3. How to Enter

To enter the competition, customers must purchase a pack of our Jollof Rice either through our website or from any of our participating stores between October 1st and November 31st, 2024 (the "Closing Date").

After purchasing, entrants must retain their proof of purchase (receipt) and register their details on our website, providing any information requested to verify the purchase. Failure to retain the receipt or provide proof of purchase upon request will invalidate the entry.

4. Competition Prize

The prize is a return economy class flight for one person to an African city of their choice. The prize is subject to the following conditions:

- The total cost of the flights must not exceed £1,000.

- The winner must confirm their choice of destination and travel dates before December 31st, 2025.

- The Promoter will book the flights on behalf of the winner.

- Travel must be within the limits of economy class.

- Flights are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative.

- The Promoter is not responsible for any additional costs related to the trip, including but not limited to accommodation, visas, insurance, and transportation.

5. Winner Selection

The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries after the Closing Date. The draw will take place on December 5th, 2024, and the winner will be notified within 7 days of the draw via the contact details provided during registration.

If the winner does not respond within 14 days of the initial notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select another winner.

6. Proof of Purchase

The winner will be required to provide their receipt as proof of purchase before the prize is awarded. Failure to provide a valid receipt upon request will result in disqualification.

7. Prize Booking

The winner must provide all necessary personal details and travel preferences to facilitate the booking. Failure to supply requested information may result in the prize being forfeited.

8. Limitations and Liabilities

- The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the competition and these terms and conditions where necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.

- The Promoter is not responsible for any travel disruptions, including flight cancellations or delays, and will not be liable for any losses, damages, or injuries that occur during the prize trip.

- The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully received due to technical faults or delays.

9. Data Protection

Personal data supplied during the course of this competition will only be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws and for the purposes of administering the competition and prize fulfillment. By entering the competition, entrants consent to the use of their personal data for these purposes.

10. General

By entering this competition, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. The Promoter’s decision regarding any aspect of the competition is final and binding.

This competition is governed by the laws of England and Wales, and entrants to the competition submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
